# Do I lose access to the license if I sell or transfer the NFT?

Yes. When the NFTs are minted, holding one is what gives you access to the lifetime license.

If you sell it or transfer it, you will lose access.

**The NFT does not need to be in the same wallet as the one you normally use for crypto.** We suggest you have it in a hardware wallet.
